9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Registration

 

Session: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00  a.m.                 1

1.  Jim LaLone:  Pictures of your Ancestors Before Photography

2.  Rick Danes:  Civil  War Graves Registry

3.  Ann Martin:   Beginning Genealogy

 

Session 2: 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

4. Ceil Wendt-Jensen: Introduction to Polish Genealogy

5. Sam Pardee: Sinking of the Sultana

6. Mary Strouse: Using FamilySearch.org

 

Lunch Session: 12:30 p.m.– 1:30 p.m.

                 
Lunch  bring your own, or enjoy a box lunch.  Choose from the following:

a.  turkey has lettuce and tomato -no cheese

b.  ham has Swiss cheese and lettuce

c.   veggie is a wrap with a tortilla shell

Dessert is a mix of brownie, sugar cookie or choc chip cookie

Personal one-on-one help will be available from various members of local and state genealogical and historical societies.  Please sign-in at the Lake Superior room.  Genealogists from MGC member societies with experience with your question area will assist you.  We will be happy to assist you during this time, however if there others waiting, we ask you to limit your assistance to fifteen minutes.

from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
